Basic Nurse Assistant Training Program (BNATP) Certificate Information Session

Caring for others starts with the right foundation—and as part of Dominican University’s Basic Nurse Assistant Training Program (BNATP), you’ll earn the skills and confidence to start your journey. 

Learn more about our high-impact program as you prepare to take the next steps in your healthcare career. and discover how Dominican’s BNATP certificate will help you become an integral member of healthcare teams in a variety of settings.

Designed to prepare individuals for employment as a certified nurse assistant (CNA) through both classroom and clinical education, our program is an 8-week course that is offered fully in-person at the university’s Chicago Campus in the evening.

You'll hear from faculty and staff and learn more about classes, curriculum, and the admission process. Virtual information sessions are held via Zoom. Application Workshops

Sign up for a 30-minute time slot during which a graduate recruiter will answer questions on the application process and materials. You’ll have the opportunity to email application materials (resume and personal statement) ahead of time for our recruiter to review. Sessions will be held via Zoom. Canvas Workshops

This workshop will demonstrate Canvas, the Dominican University Learning Management System (LMS). During the workshop, a graduate recruiter will show how Canvas is utilized by Dominican faculty and students and will answer questions about the academic program.
