Mediation and negotiation skills are in tremendous demand in practically every field, from law enforcement and labor relations to international business and health care. Dominican’s Master of Arts in Mediation and Conflict Resolution program prepares students with the in-demand skills and knowledge to help resolve disputes within organizations. In addition to the master’s degree, Dominican offers two certificate programs ideal for individuals looking to upskill but not ready to commit to a full degree program.

Complete the MCR 601 Mediation Skills Training course
Full admission to the master's program in mediation and conflict resolution is not required of students only seeking the Mediation Skills Training Certificate.
Students who complete the certificate can later count MCR 601 toward the Master of Arts in Mediation and Conflict Resolution.

Admission to graduate and certificate programs in mediation and conflict resolution is open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

Graduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution

An easy and accessible way to become certified in conflict resolution.

Take the five-day Mediation Skills Training course and three other MCR courses
Courses completed as part of the graduate certificate can later count toward the Master of Arts in Mediation and Conflict Resolution

Financial aid is not available if you are only pursuing the Mediation Skills Training Certificate or the Graduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution.
