PASOS Network and University Ministry Publish Report on Latine College Experience
The PASOS Network and University Ministry, in collaboration with Springtide Research Institute, recently published the findings of their groundbreaking national study, titled Como en Casa: How Latina/o College Students Thrive in Catholic Campus Life. The report explores how Latine college students define and experience spiritual thriving within Catholic campus ministries across the United States.
Based on surveys and interviews with students and campus ministers from diverse Catholic and secular institutions, the study centers the voices of Latine students to understand how they cultivate meaningful faith lives in college.
鈥淯ltimately, by attending to how Latina/o students experience faith, belonging and spiritual thriving within Catholic campus ministries, this study aims to inspire the Church, ministers and administrators of higher education to see students as protagonistas鈥 active bearers of a vibrant, communal and liberative Catholicism,鈥 wrote Armando Guerrero Estrada, director of the PASOS Network.

In July, the PASOS Network hosted the fourth 隆El Futuro Is Here! conference on Dominican University's River Forest campus. The multi-day informative event and celebration is aimed at empowering Latine students, campus ministers, theological educators, faculty, staff and administrators from across the country.
