Doors will open in the fields of mediation, restorative justice, law, labor relations, business, higher education, terminal degrees, and human resources.

If you are interested in acquiring skills that are in high demand right now, the Master of Arts in Mediation and Conflict Resolution (MMCR) fits the bill. This program not only lays the foundational knowledge for traditional careers that will enable you to improve the lives of individuals, families and communities, the conflict resolution training will broaden your options to fields, ranging from labor relations and business to human resources and legal services. 

The mediation and conflict resolution program includes role-playing, real-world experience and one-to-one training with practitioners in the field of mediation. This combined degree, at its core, is about helping people through effective communication and problem solving.

A Program Fit For Your Needs 

Among the many benefits of this program are its efficiency and convenience. Certain Master of Arts in Mediation and Conflict Resolution courses also count toward the Bachelor of Professional Studies (BPS) reducing overall completion time for both degrees by up to nine credits, saving you time and money. The low-residency format allows students to earn their degree online or in the evening while working full time. BPS courses can be completed in the evenings on the campus of Triton College in River Grove or online. MMCR courses are completed at Dominican鈥檚 River Forest campus, online or at the University Center of Lake County in Grayslake.
